16mm scale Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Garratt in 16mm scale The locomotive will be available, ready-torun, in two versions, either as supplied with the closed cab, or as modified at the DHR works to an open cab end and modified reversing gear.

G Scale RailAdventure VI BR 103 Electric Locomotive
Built between 1970 and 1973, 145 examples of BR103 were produced for Deutsche Bundesbahn to replace older locomotives. Withdrawals commenced in the late 1990s even though the class was the mainstay of high-speed trains before the introduction of ICE units. 17 have been preserved.
103 222 has been sold to RailAdventure, a German “interim operator” based in Munich & specialising in delivering new/refurbished trains. The loco may well see service delivering stock to the UK!

Gauge One wagon kits
A massive announcement this month with new Southern Railway and Great Western Railway goods stock kits in 1:32mm scale.
There is also a further SECR Compartment Coach, four Maunsell Coaches, multiple Southern built wagons/ brake vans and eight GWR Wagons/Brake Vans.

Gauge 3 Class 08 diesel kit
Shown fresh off the printer, the body kit for the “Gronk” is printed in resin for Gauge 3 (1:22.5) but can be resized to suit other scales.
The body is hollow allowing for lots of space for radio control and batteries. The 10 parts included in the kit will allow most variations of this long-lived class to be modelled. Depending on the loco being modelled the vacuum and air compressor lockers if fitted vary in position hence are separate items.
The cab roof is removable, allowing detailing to be added to the cab interior, there are no interior cab details yet, but a separate kit will be available to do this in the future.
Also available are parts that replace the cab enabling the Class 13 to be modelled.
The resin used is an ABS-like resin that is easy to sand and paint. It has a shore hardness of 75D (extra hard) and a thermal softening at 80C so will be stable and durable. The print has a layer height of 0.04mm so there is minimal stepping as is often seen in 3D prints.
Work is also in hand to produce a laser-cut chassis for the model.
