Top foods with pesticide ‘cocktail’

Strawberri­es, pre-packed salads and grapes are among shop-bought fresh produce most likely to contain a ‘cocktail’ of pesticides, according to a new list published by the group Pesticide Action Network UK. The Government says all EU protection­s against high levels of pesticides will be carried through unchanged after Brexit, and adds: “Any pesticide residues in food will be below levels that could cause harm.”
