Strimmer warning
I am writing to express my concern that in the article ’10 ways to help wildlife now’ (November issue), in which advice is given to strim wildflower meadows, it did not mention that hedgehogs and other creatures could be nesting/resting there.
Hedgehog rescues are full of hedgehogs with terrible strimmer injuries each year. Every time strimming is mentioned anywhere in the media, this fact should be stressed strongly.
