Pricking out

1Gather your seedlings, a new pot for each one, fresh multipurpose compost and a dibber. Fill one new pot with compost.

2Holding a seedling by a leaf, use the dibber to lever it out of the compost, taking care to bring all the roots with it.

3Make a hole in the centre of the new pot and lower in the seedling. Plant it a little deeper than it was previously, for strong growth.
