How to make new plants

-

1 Pull away a healthy leaf. Leave for a few days to callus. You can also use leaves that have fallen off naturally. 2 Fill a tray with a 50:50 mix of moistened cacti and succulent compost and perlite. Firm down.

3 Push the stem end of each leaf into the mix and firm in gently to ensure good contact. Leave in a warm, sunny spot and keep the compost slightly moist. You’ll see small new plants form around the edges of the leaf in the next few weeks.
