Prune back whippy growth on wisteria to two buds

Take hardwood cuttings now, when it’s not too frosty, and before buds burst in a few weeks

Order bare-root trees and hedging. If unable to heel into the ground until planting, keep in a barrow of compost in a shed or garage

Check bagged seed to use. If water can be wrung out, it’s too wet
