Tomato ‘Costoluto Fiorentino’

An Italian, cordon variety of beefsteak tomato, producing large and tasty fruits, with up to four fruits per truss. It has an AGM from the RHS, showing it crops reliably. How to Sow in seed pellets or 0.5cm deep in propagator seed trays, providing base heat. Pot on when your seedlings need more space and nurture under grow lights or place in a warm, sunny spot.

Basil ‘Classic Italian’

A favourite companion herb in Mediterranean tomato salads. Add to cooked food only minutes before serving to retain the strong flavour of this tasty basil variety. How to Sow thinly on damp seed compost in seed trays and top with a thin layer of vermiculite. Once germinated, prick out seedlings into individual 7cm pots and keep frost free until ready to plant out in the greenhouse.

Cauliflower ‘All the Year Round’

This reliable variety produces wellprotected, tasty, large white curds as early as July. Sow successionally to ensure a good supply of crops throughout the year.

How to Sow in a greenhouse, coldframe or on a windowsill, into module trays filled with seed compost. Pot on seedlings into individual pots as they grow, and plant out in spring.
