Q What is this evergreen shrub?

-

John Allen, West Sussex

AHUMAIRA SAYS This is Correa ‘Marion’s Marvel’ or the Australian fuchsia. This compact shrub needs acid soil, is semi-hardy (down to about -5°C) and likes a sunny spot. It flowers from December through to April, with pale pink bell-shaped blooms that have bright yellowgreen tips. It’s an especially useful plant in mild coastal gardens.
