GLOSS AND SHEEN

-

Sometimes plants give you an earworm – they remind me of a particular tune and whenever I read their name I am humming away for the next couple of hours. I know it is unkind as earworms are very contagious but I am going to share this with you: “Camellia, you’re breaking my heart. You're shaking my confidence daily..." to the Cecilia tune of by Simon and Garfunkel. You’re welcome.

Camellia japonica ‘Charlotte de Rothschild’

Lovely flowers (and gleamingly glossy leaves) that look amazing in a simple vase. Does best in acidic soil. H x S 6m x 6m
