Spot the difference
As it’s your 30th anniversary, I thought I’d share these pictures with you. Same greenhouse, same girl, just 30 years apart! As you can see I have always been enthusiastic about gardening. My previous house was a terrace with a concrete prison patch I called the Yarden, which was filled with plants in recycled milk bottle pots and any old containers I could get my hands on.
My boyfriend and I recently bought my grandparents’ house and I’m now the proud owner of granddad’s greenhouse. I even have a few of his old plant labels with his handwriting that I still use for my beans. I hope this shows that gardening is accessible and fun for all ages.
