Water seedlings carefully

-

When watering seedlings, group similar types together – while they are growing away fast now, they don’t all need the same amount of water nor do they grow at the same rate.

Seedlings can damp off or rot when they are crowded or the compost surface stays too wet, so check what they need by feeling the compost. Use a watering can with a fine rose for control and keep the can full in the greenhouse so that the water is the same temperature as the seedlings.
