PRANCING POLYANTHUS

-

It is a little advertised fact that I am a very enthusiastic Scottish country dancer. I can spin with joyous abandon and untramelled gusto and am even in possession of a kilt. I mention this, not to upset your breakfast, but because this combination reminds me of a sprightly Eightsome Reel.

Anemone blanda ‘Charmer’

Plant tubers in autumn after soaking them overnight. Good in pots or naturalised under trees and shrubs. HxS 10cm x 20cm

Primula ‘Blue Lace Mary’

Beautiful detailing on petals so best in a pot so more easily seen. Propagate by division in spring.
