Sow flower seeds

Sow flowers now to fill pots, window boxes, borders or beds. It’s easy to do and you’ll save money by sowing seed rather than buying plants later in the season.

All annuals can be sown now and many perennials will flower this year if sown now. Fill a tray with multi-purpose compost, tamp down and water before sowing. Cover the seed with a thin layer of compost and put in a warm place to germinate.

Now the days are longer, flowers will germinate and grow quickly
