Big bird bullies

In Garden Wildlife Uncovered (February issue) you asked if an improved quality of bird food being used has brought more species to the garden. I think the smaller birds in my garden suffer due to the bigger birds, I have had to adapt my bird table to make it pigeon and jackdaw proof and am convinced that the arrival and increase of the pigeon population is the main reason why the smaller birds have declined in numbers universally.
