Harvest now
It’s really good to see new beginnings – my first crunchy
radishes are ready for picking, as are the lettuce leaves in the greenhouse. Woody herbs like
rosemary, thyme, sage and even French tarragon are showing signs of new growth, just enough to bring a small bunch home. The leeks and kale are at an end, all harvested before they flowered, and the last of the stored shallots, onions and
potatoes need using up. Now I can’t wait for the new season’s crops to begin in earnest!
