Pick Your Own Delicious Home Grown Strawberries In 60-90 Days!
Strawberry plants are easy to grow and all they require is a sunny, sheltered spot. Plants can be spaced 30cm (12in) apart in the open ground. Alternatively they can be grown in growbags (10 plants per bag) or containers. Our hand graded ‘frozen’ (cold-stored) strawberry plants are raised under the PHPS scheme and are guaranteed to be free from pests and diseases. The advantage of ‘frozen’ plants is that they produce fruit the first summer followed by bumper crops for the next 2-3 years. Provided they are planted outside by the end of July, they will crop just 60-90 days after planting. Delivery is within 28 days. Offer closes 31st May 2021.

MARSHMELLO (mid) - A fantastic midseason variety, described by French chef Raymond Blanc as the sweetest strawberry he has ever tasted! The large, glossyred berries are not firm enough for the supermarkets but it is a very popular variety on ‘Pick Your Own’ farms and has become a firm favourite amongst home gardeners. MARA DES BOIS (perpetual) - Combines the aromatic flavour of the wild alpine strawberry with the fruit size and yield of the modern cultivars. When fully ripe, the medium sized berries are extremely fragrant and develop an intense flavour and aroma similar to the woodland strawberry. Resistant to mildew. Ripens AugOct.
