SURE-FIRE SHOWSTOPPERS

-

A combination that always reminds me of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show: all three plants Tan be depended on to look hot and exciting at the end of May. A very alluring combination of rich colours and contrasting shapes: a zinging start to a glorious summer.

Allium ‘Miami’

Plant bulbs in autumn for summer flowering. Seedheads dry well for arrangements. H x S 70cm x 20cm

Cirsium rivulare ‘Atropurpureum’

A fabulous thistle. It doesn’t like being too crowded or too dry. Propagate by division or seed. Hx S 1.2m x 40cm

Iris ‘Black Swan’

Split and replant congested clumps in summer after flowering. Flowers might need supporting. H x S 90cm x 30cm
