GW fair is springboard for new plants
Growers will be bringing exciting new plants to the market this year, despite the postponement until September of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, normally a showcase for first-time releases. This year, though, they’ll be using the BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair (28-30 May) to launch new beauties to grow this season, such as the Judas tree Cercis x canadensis ‘Eternal Flame’ and Hillier Nurseries’ Deutzia ‘Cherry Dream’ (above).
