Give your garden a refresh without exacerbating your hay fever with these beautiful blooms

Roses

Roses with double flowers tend to produce very little pollen so they are a classic choice because they come in a variety of colours and forms, from traditional shrubs and climbers to miniature plants that are perfect for patio containers.

Snapdragons

Thanks to their flower forms, these magnificently tall flowers release very little pollen into the air. Their height means they look great in both pots and flowerbeds, and they thrive between June and October.

Gladioli

With bright and vibrant petals, it’s no surprise these gorgeous perennials are a florists’ favourite. They’re also great for adding a splash of colour to your borders, as they’ll pop against your grass and other leafy plants.
