BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine

What’s in a name?

-

I’m no expert on plant names, at times I can’t even pronounce them, but I do enjoy BBC Gardeners’ World. I take note of the names of the beautiful flowers or vegetables (including the growing tips), then I go to the garden centre and treat myself. Seeing the plant I read or saw on TV growing in my garden is so satisfying. I probably still can’t pronounce the name but the scent and beauty in reality is so rewarding. This year I recommend everyone to pick at least one new plant you can’t pronounce and have a go.
