Prince Charles calls for a ‘treebilee’ celebration

The Prince of Wales is urging gardeners to plant a tree to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year, to celebrate her 70 years on the throne. “Planting a tree is a statement of hope and faith in the future,” Prince Charles said in a video message. The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative will hand out 3m free saplings to community groups and schools.
