Increase your cut height

-

Raise the blade on your mower to reduce the stress on the grass at the peak of the mowing season, when the weather tends to be dry and warm.

Mow regularly and remove weeds as you spot them to allow the grass to grow. Keep the grass height at about 5-6cm until conditions become milder and wetter. Trimming the lawn lightly encourages the grass to thicken up and will improve the quality of your lawn over time.
