Set up capillary matting

Set up a low-maintenance self-watering system for your greenhouse plants using capillary matting. The matting

efĔcientlĄ soaÂs and draws water across it so that pots can absorb moisture from the base. Your plants will be safe for

daĄs when Ąou go on holidaĄ.

PLACE the wick in the water reservoir and make sure it is in contact with the matting above, which is laid on a firm, level surface.

FILL the reservoir using a watering can or hose. Pour the water into the top-up hole and fill it to the top.

SPACE your plants out on the capillary matting, prioritising those that are most vulnerable to wilting if the compost dries out.
