Give delicate plants extra shade

-

Put plants under your greenhouse benches for more shade when the sun is at its hottest. Some plants suffer in the heat, even when the vents are open – and those with delicate leaves or lush growth, like leafy herbs, will suffer the most.

Leave them in the shade for a few days if the forecast is for hot weather, but for them to grow well, you will eventually need to move your plants up for a bit more light.

?? ?? Herbs such as parsley will dry out more slowly and are less likely to wilt if moved to a cool and shady spot on hot days
