Get hopping
Fixed to a chunk of upright railway sleeper, this old rain hopper offers a quirky home for plants and can easily be positioned anywhere in the garden. We planted a double layer of bulbs and topped off with decorative grit.
There are many interesting dwarf daffodils to consider and also many double petalled kinds that are often better in pots where their heavy heads will bow down without hitting the ground.
If tipped out, dried off and repotted the following autumn they’ll thrive in pots for many years.
