Q Can I move my fouryear-old hoheria?

- Janet Bartlam, by email

A CHRISTINE SAYS Yes, move it in spring. First, water the plant really well, then dig around it so you can remove as large a rootball as possible. Transfer the plant to its new site straight away, to prevent drying out, and water it in really generously. Continue watering regularly for the first year.

If you grow your own curry leaves, you can use them fresh, not dried, for the best flavour
