Add feet to pots to help drainage

-

Lift pots off the ground to improve drainage by putting pot feet underneath them. When water can’t drain from the holes at the base, the air gaps in the compost fill up, the roots rot and the plant will wilt. Check your pots regularly and take care not to overwater, which will make the situation worse. Pot feet or improvised solutions like blocks will ensure that pots drain, even after a heavy downpour.
