Woodland stars
Sweet box is used to build the planting in this combination as it has such good shape. It also has a wonderful scent. The fern brings contrast both in shape and leaf finish. The aster then adds a soft, delicate and rather unruly feel to the scene. This group likes a spot in full sun or partial shade.

Our native Asplenium scolopendrium really catches the eye. I use it in my woodland area, but it also works well in pots. It holds its leaves all year and contrasts well with the other plants. H x S 60cm x 60cm
