Q Our yucca has finally flowered – does it need any special care?

A

MATT SAYS Just enjoy the flowers and leave them in place long enough to accept the congratulatory comments from your gardening friends. Then, once they start to fade, remove the flower stem at the base to keep the plant looking good. You may need to use loppers, and do take care to avoid the spiky foliage.
