A vegetable worthy of its crown
I just wanted to say that I loved My gardening world: Griff Rhys Jones in your September issue, as he mentioned that ‘Crown Prince’ pumpkins are his favourite veg that he grows. We grew these for the first time last year – they are the most delicious pumpkin I have ever eaten. They look just as beautiful when you cut into them as they do on the outside. They are wonderful roasted with gnocchi and a creamy pumpkin sauce. I’m growing them again this year.
