Splash of sunshine
This tulip’s frilly, generous blooms stand on short, stout stems, making it ideal for containers in less sheltered positions.
Unlike this tulip, which is best treated as a seasonal annual and discarded afterwards, lateflowering dwarf narcissus ‘Moonlight Sensation’ can be replanted afterwards in pots or in the ground, in sun or light shade. It will multiply and flower reliably every year, each stem carrying two or three lightly perfumed blooms that last for weeks.
The plain terracotta pot lends an extra warmth to this already cheery display.
