Growing success

I’ve enjoyed growing and sharing the seeds

I got as a magazine subscriber. The basil was very successful and the tomatoes were easy – I’ve learnt to keep pruning off tomato side shoots. The tomatoes were also resistant to slugs and as I’ve fed the local slug population with many lovely plants over the years it was a welcome reprieve. Finally, Monty’s tip to pop unripe tomatoes in a paper bag with a banana has definitely worked for me.
