This is a bushy, dwarf shrub with plenty of flower power. It boasts vermilion-red blooms that are fully double, 5-7cm across, produced in prolific clusters. It has attractive purple young foliage and excellent disease resistance.
HOW TO GROW
The small size of Trumpeter means it is good for a patio or courtyard.
Use it as a low-growing hedge, on its own or with other similar-sized roses. It relishes full sun and rich, moist but free-draining soil, but will still grow well in partial shade.
