Elder, dogwood and buddleia

-

Hard pruning in late winter causes a strong response from shrubs and is ideal for plants that flower in late summer on the current season’s growth or those that we grow for their dramatic foliage. Buddleja davidii, cornus and elders are prime examples that can be hard pruned in February to encourage strong and floriferous growth.
