Hanging baskets aren’t just for summer. Plant up some now with pansies, trailing ivy, bedding cyclamen and primroses to create colourful displays on either side of doorways. Use large baskets or hanging pots and fill with peat-free generalpurpose compost. Pop in some miniature spring bulbs, such as ’Tête-à-Tête’ daffodils, for extra colour later. Plant the ivy around the edge to trail down.
