Q How should I sow monkey puzzle seeds?

ANNE SAYS Both male and female monkey puzzle trees must be growing nearby for females to produce their large rounded cones full of plump reddish-brown seeds. Sow these fresh or in February, one per pot, in a mix of two parts seed compost to one part vermiculite or perlite. Position with the pointed end down and the top showing. Keep moist on a windowsill.
