Q What is this weed and how can I get rid of it?

-

Alan Woodward, Oxford A

ANNE SAYS Your weed is probably the creeping, seedpinging Oxalis corniculata, with yellow flowers and fleshy roots that spread in containers and crevices. But if it is pink flowered, with many small bulbs, it might be O. debilis. Repeated weeding is the best control. I have mastered O. debilis in open ground by constant hoeing over a long period.

?? ?? To eradicate oxalis, remove the plants and all their roots regularly
