A green way to keep weeds at bay

Regarding Phil Mulligan’s question (Have your Say, January issue) about what to do with empty tonne bags, as well as compost/soil bags, I find they make excellent weed-suppressant material. Just puncture a few drainage holes using a screwdriver or sharp knife.
