CREATE AN EASY MIXED CONTAINER

Fill your chosen container with peat-free multipurpose compost. Adding slow-release fertiliser will keep give the plants the nutrients they will need as they grow.

Place your star plant in the middle.

We used a tomato plant here. Loosen the rootball if yours is compacted.

Tuck basil and calendula seedlings or plug plants all around the tomato. Water well and as soon as the tomato begins to flower start feeding regularly with liquid tomato feed.
