How to plant a permanent pot
Plants that last year after year in pots can form the backbone of your patio, providing structure, shade and enclosure as well as colour, flowers or fruits. Growing permanent plants in containers also gives you the chance to enjoy plants that wouldn’t thrive in your garden soil. If camellias or rhododendrons don’t do well in your soil, they can still give beautiful results for years if grown in their preferred conditions in pots.
