Do’s and don’ts

✔ DO pot up your plant on a cool, cloudy day rather than a hot, sunny one, to reduce stress on the plant.

✔ DO pour the compost into a trug before planting and break it up to remove any large lumps.

✔ DO re-pot every two to three years, when the roots need more room.

X DON’T plant into a pot that doesn’t have a drainage hole at the base.
