A MATT SAYS You could grow a single grass in a pot, such as Carex comans ‘Frosted Curls’ or an array of coloured sempervivums in a shallow basin, such as grey-green ‘Purdy’, ‘Reinhard’ with burgundy leaf tips and ‘Rosy Glow’, to create a mosaic. Alternatively, make a tiny crevice garden using alpine plants and roof tiles or pieces of slate.
