Nature finds a way

We have always made our tiny garden as wildlife friendly as possible, but felt that we didn’t have room to plant a tree. Nature had other plans!

While weeding my herb garden I found this tiny fir tree. It will be some time before it can help combat climate change, but it does show that nature is trying to heal itself. If we work with it, instead of against it, there is hope for the planet yet.
