The fruits didn’t taste as sweet as other varieties in the trial, in fact they seemed quite mild. The texture is firm, and the fruits are large and bear many seeds. This modern early variety claims good disease resistance to verticilli­um wilt, so would be ideal for growing in beds and on allotments.
