Feed azaleas in pots
Sprinkle a dose of slow-release fertiliser around acid-loving shrubs growing in pots. A dose now will last for several weeks. There are formulations specifically for acidloving plants that have a balanced mix of nutrients, including the trace nutrients normally held in soils. Read the dose rate on the packet and spread the granules on the surface. Mix them in with your fingers to activate the release of nutrients. Soak the pot with rainwater because it’s more acidic than most tapwater.
