Pot on your pelargoniums

-

Look under pots of pelargoniums to see if there are roots at the drainage holes. If there are, they need potting on to keep them well fed and growing healthily, ready to add to containers in the garden this summer. Water plants before potting on, then knock them gently out of their pots.

Choose a pot that is at least 5cm in diameter larger than the previous one. Pot into John Innes potting compost keeping the stem base at the same depth as before. Water again and space out on a bench to grow on.
