Look after box plants in pots
Give pot-grown box plants a feed to keep them healthy and vigorous. Start by loosening the surface of the compost with your fingers and removing some of it if you can. Replenish with fresh loam-based potting compost.
Tamp the compost down to the same level it was before. Add a slow-release granular fertiliser to the top and water it in. Water slowly, making sure that it soaks through the compost rather than running down the sides and straight out of the drainage holes.
