Q Can you identify this plant?

- Irene Muir, by email

PIPPA SAYS This is an arum, most probably Arum italicum, commonly known as Italian lords and ladies or Italian cuckoo pint. It looks very similar to our native A. pictum, which grows in woodlands and hedgerows, but has the added attraction of striking white-veined leaves.

?? ?? Arum italicum has striking leaves, flower-like spathes and red berries
