We’re the tops!
I’d like to share how I re-use GW Magazine, once it’s been read front to back.
When Covid began, I started making jams and chutneys for local people, selling them at the roadside. All the money raised went to support Cornwall Air Ambulance, while providing much appreciated jams for folk who could not get to the shops. The idea was so successful that local children made me a wooden display stand, and another neighbour a lovely board to draw attention to the produce. A real community effort. Rather than purchase toppers for the jams, I use the beautiful full-page photos from your magazine – the fact that they are compostable is popular with my customers. So far Air Ambulance has £500 in donations.
Thanks for providing a great magazine, which never makes it to landfill from my house.
