Pot up tender marguerites

-

It’s time to get tender marguerites potted up, ready to flower outside all summer. They’ll root out fast, so choose a pot at least 15cm larger in diameter than the rootball.

Water the plants first and let them drain. Part fill your chosen pot with multi-purpose peat-free compost and place the marguerite in the centre, gathering stems and leaves in one hand while you back-fill with compost. Firm it in, water and put somewhere sheltered until you are sure that there’ll be no more frosts.
